He will complete the armament in Naples from where the 1 June 1866 will enter service, becoming part of the siege team commanded by Admiral Vacca and taking part in the battle of Lissa.
In September of the 1870, during the brief undertaking in Rome, near the beach of Cormeto, the day 16 was sent with two other woods to the square of Civitavecchia to bring to the surrender the pontiffs who, when menacing the boats under the ramparts of the city , they surrendered.
Among the various activities carried out above all in the Mediterranean and the Red Sea, the service of a hospital ship in Venice during a cholera outbreak should not be forgotten. After further operational missions, he will terminate his service as a floating cholerosis hospital and, after having been exiled, will continue to be used for the use of barracks and school students, gunsmiths and electricians. It will be demolished in the 1901-1902 period.
