The gunship Andrea Provana, under the command of the corvette captain Alessandro Guarienti, leaves Massaua for repatriation. It will land in Venice on March 16 at the end of a period of 15 months of colonial service during which it had also carried out anti-smuggling cruises along the east coast of the Red Sea.

It is the last voyage of the ship that will be laid up to be removed.
