greetings in the presence of Guglielmo Marconi of the RT station of Coltano (Pisa) of 250 kW, the most powerful Italian radio system. The station at the outbreak of the war with Turkey was transferred from the dependence of the Ministry of Posts and Telegraphs to that of the Navy.

With the Coltano station, the Coltano-Mogadishu-Massaua connection was completed by the Navy, which also installed and operated the RT networks of Somalia and Eritrea.
