07 happened on August 1912: Tests from the top of underwater visibility

07/08/14

High-visibility underwater tests are conducted with the use of the P.2 airship under the command of vessel lieutenant Giulio Valli. Three barrels, painted respectively in white, red and light blue are prepared like block torpedoes and sunken.

These are identified by a share of 600 m: first the one painted in white, then the light blue and finally the red one.

Some bombs of the type used for terrestrial targets, which do not produce significant results, are launched against them because the bombs exploded on contact with the surface of the sea and far from the target, causing a strong wind that changed the fall trajectory.
