The 03 September 1896 happened: Accident during exercise

The course of the night between the 3 and the 4 during an exercise in headlights obscured in the waters of the island of Montecristo between torpedo boats aggregated to the Active Naval Team, the 103 S is invested by the 134 S reporting serious damages.

Thanks to the help and assistance immediately provided by the other torpedo boats participating in the exercise, the 103 S reaches the Longone beach where it runs aground. The 15 the torpedo boat will be transferred to La Spezia for efficiency restoration works.
