03 June 1915: Naz Corps of Motorboating Volunteers

National Cargo Motor Volunteer Association (CNVM) subject to the supervision of the Minister of the Navy, in order to contribute to the defense of the Homeland.

An essential requirement, in addition to those of good conduct and physical fitness, is the possession of a pleasure boat; the volunteer is obliged to the Corps for a period of two years. The Statute of the Corps will be approved on June 13 and the regulation on 11 August.

The crew is chosen by the owner with the consent of the president of the local committee; the operating expenses of the motorboat, even its transport by rail, including the volunteer and the crew, are borne by the State, as well as any loss of the vessel.

The volunteers wore the uniform prescribed with affixed on the degrees and on the trophy of the cap, the coat of arms reported in the ridge which, it was obligatory to hoist it when the motorboat is called to perform service and optional in the other cases.
