02 happened October 1896: The Crown Prince from the bride-to-be

Naples, the royal ship Savoy (commander, captain of frigates Augusto Aubry) carrying the admiral Tòmaso of Savoy-Genoa and the crown prince Vittorio Emanuele directed, after a stop in Brindisi the 4, in Antivari (Bar Slavic, locality about 50 km SE of the Mouths of Cattaro, terminal of the road that connected the coast to the capital of the Kingdom of Montenegro).

From here the crown prince accompanied by Tòmaso di Savoia will go to Cettigne, the capital of Montenegro, to meet Princess Jelena Petrovic-Niégos (daughter of Nicholas I Petrovic-Niegos, gospodar (prince) of Montenegro from 1860 to 1910 and then king and founder of the Kingdom of Montenegro 1910-1927) his betrothed.
