Alaska the Lieutenant Luigi di Savoia Duke of Abruzzi with the men of his expedition conquers the summit (5487 m) of the massif of Mount S.Elia. The expedition, composed of four companions (U. Cagni, G. Gonella, V. Sella and F. De Filippi), four mountain guides and an assistant photographer, reach the 60 ° junction parallel to the 141 ° west meridian.
