in the presence of King Umberto and Queen Margherita the battleship Sicily descends into the sea from the dockyard of the arsenal. Sicily is the third and last unit of the "King Umberto" class that displaced 13298 t, with an engine that developed 17621 horses for a maximum speed of 19 knots.

4 entered service on April 1895 carried out most of the service in the Mediterranean both for national defense activities and with international naval forces; both for military activities and for rescue activities.

The 4 March 1923 will be radiated.
