20 July 1913: Italian Naval Aviation is born
The direct involvement of New Deputy Chief Admiral Paolo Thaon of Revel, Chief of Staff of the Navy, is a convention between the Ministry of War and the Navy concerning the construction of bases and aircraft, related financial clauses and the possible use of the sea of Navy Operations under the control of the Navy, which can be considered the formal act of the birth of Italian Navy Air Force.
