09 November 1897: Peace treaty signed for the Crete crisis

Tuesday - The peace treaty between Greece and Greece is signed in Constantinople Sublime Door. Greece thanks to the intervention of the European Powers succeeds in stipulating an honorable peace; Turkey just broadens its borders and gets a war allowance of four million Turkish lira and Crete gets political autonomy under Turkish sovereignty.
