Thursday - The Cross for seniority of service coined in gold is set up surmounted by the royal crown for officers who have worked actively for 40 years or more; gold without crown for officers who have served for 25 years or more and in silver for troopers who have served in the Army and Navy for 15 years or more.
The cross will be carried hanging from a green silk ribbon intertwined with a white list on the pole (in heraldry, an honorable piece that occupies vertically the third of the middle of the shield). Decoration still in use today, with variations in frills due to the change in the institutional regime of the 1946.
