Rebel forces Houthi supported by the Yemeni National Guard loyal to former President Saleh, they occupied the industrial plant of Jizan, used by the regular troops of Riyadh and by the forces of the pro Hadi Coalition as a military post.

The news is associated with the capture of the 19 July of the Sang military base near the border with Yemen but inside the Saudi kingdom, in the province of Jāzān.

The clashes would be particularly violent and as reported by local sources (AMN) take place in the area near the Red Sea, at this time of the year considered one of the hottest in the world.

The rebel Houthi forces would show great skill in fighting on the ground, which between mountain and desert seems to be congenial to them. Increasingly embarrassed instead for the forces of the Arab countries that since 26 March 2015 support the Saudi invasion in support of the Sunnis of President Hadi perched in Aden.

After the announcement in June by Crown Prince of the Arab Emirates bin Zayed Al Nahyan of a unilateral withdrawal of UAE forces from the Coalition, the situation on the ground is starting to be critical (in September 2015 as many as 52 Emirati soldiers had died in a single attack missile conducted by pro Saleh forces).

Despite repeated international appeals, the Saudi air force's raging against civilian population and infrastructure appears unstoppable. Already 10.000 civilians are considered officially dead and other 20.000 injured. The denunciation of the use of cluster bombs in densely populated areas has so far fallen on deaf ears.
