"Last Saturday 17 February, the 28th anniversary of the foundation of the first department of the ACISMOM military corps was celebrated at the “Teulié” Military School in Milan.
The deployment, led by Colonel Renato Paolo Mazzon, commander of the "Primo", took place in the splendid setting of the prestigious Milanese training institute before the military, religious and civil authorities.
In the presence of the National Flag, arrived specifically from the general command of Rome, honors were paid to the director general, Tommaso Gargallo of Castel Lentini in whose presence 20 officers, non-commissioned officers and soldiers from other units swore the oath of loyalty to the Republic territories of the body.
Afterwards, in the Hall of Honour, the head chaplain of the corps, Msgr. Alessandro Repossi celebrated the Holy Mass. At the end, the Corps lunch was held, including the authorities, relatives and friends who had gathered.
The hospitality for the significant anniversary is part of a broader collaboration between entities aimed at creating synergies and operational support within the Army and the Order of Malta.
