"The United States is not a threat to Russia." This is what the Pentagon official channels said, commenting on the new Russian national security document signed by Vladimir Putin. In the new Defense guidelines and strategy, the Russians have defined both the United States and NATO expansion as threats.

They add from the Pentagon: "They have no reason to consider us a threat, we are not looking for a war against Russia. Of course, we have our differences (Ukraine and Syria), but it is absolutely wrong to see the United States as a threat to the Moscow government" .

Last July, General Joseph Dunford (photo), head of the Joint General Staff of the US military, described Russia as "the greatest threat to US national security".

The Russian attitude is alarming to say the least - said Dunford to the members of the Senate Armed Services Committee - despite conflicts in the Middle East with terrorist groups, the biggest threat to our national security is dictated by the Russians. Their nuclear capacity constitutes a greater threat than the Islamic State.

Meanwhile in Moscow ...

The Russian Aerospace Forces received additional S-400 missile systems Triumph in defense of Moscow and the Central Industrial District. Confirmation comes from the Russian Ministry of Defense. The S-400 reached the capital by train after performing real fire tests in the polygon of Kapustin Yar.

Moscow and the Central Industrial District today they are protected by four regiments equipped with S-400 Triumph. According to official reports issued last December, the Russians have eleven regiments equipped with the Triumph which will become sixteen by the end of this year.

The Russians plan to have it online by the 2020, the year in which the 90% of the rearmament wanted by Putin, 28 S-400 regiments, should be concluded. A standard Russian battalion based on the S-400 consists of eight launchers for 32 missiles.
