From the 23 to the 27 March, the Navy lands at the Museum of Science and Technology

From the 23 to the 27 in March the Darsena of Viale Gorizia in Milan will host the personnel of the Navy and the National Association of Sailors of Italy (ANMI) which, through numerous demonstrative and interactive activities, will tell visitors, lovers of naval history and those who wish to discover up close the Navy, the excellences of the Armed Forces.

During the five days of activity, which will culminate with an intervention by the chief of staff of the Navy team admiral Valter Girardelli at the Catholic University, an Institutional exhibition of the Navy will be set up from 09.00 to 19.00 with free admission inside the headquarters of the 'ANMI in Viale Gorizia 9 / B, dedicated to the "specialist" components of the Navy to raise awareness of the history, traditions and technological innovations that make the Navy a reference point for Made in Italy and Italian excellence in the world.

Those who visit the Navy exhibition will also receive a voucher which, presented at the ticket office of the Leonardo da Vinci National Museum of Science and Technology, will entitle you to benefit from the reduced rate entrance ticket on 23, 26 and 27 March.

Visitors will have the opportunity to meet closely the #Professionals of the Sea who daily work at the service of the country and the community, with their equipment and means: raiders, helicopters and naval demining officers embarked on the units of the Countermeasure Forces Command Mine. Furthermore, in the external area, a Hurricane attack dinghy supplied to the Incursori of the Underwater Command and Incursors (COMSUBIN), already employed in international missions, and the Mobile Information Center of the Navy will be exhibited.

It will also be an opportunity for the youngest to request information on career opportunities in the various specializations and roles of the Armed Forces, to become part of the great family of the Navy.

A series of activities of profound historical and cultural interest will be developed on March 27 as part of a conference "The attackers of the Navy yesterday and today" which will take place from 9.00 to 1200 at the "Conte Biancamano" Hall of the National Science Museum and Technology. Among these, the theatrical show "The sinking of the Viribus Unitis" of the Gold Medal for Military Valor by Raffaele Paolucci (Company of Pola in 1918) and the presentation of the book "The Underwater Command and Incursors of the Navy - ComSubIn".
