The Minister of Defense of South Korea, Han Min-koo, has charged the country's missile command to maintain "ready for combat" status should the situation degenerate into a conflict in the Region.

We will get revenge quickly and accurately - added Han a few hours ago in a meeting with the members of the General Staff of the Country - if North Korea continues to carry out nuclear tests that could put our nation at risk. If provoked, we will react without hesitation.

The missile command of South Korea has the task of defending the country from a possible Northern attack.

The same command also has First / Second Strike tasks with nuclear ballistic missiles.
