Last greetings to Maria Fede Caproni of Taliedo

(To air Force)
08/11/17

The funeral of Maria Fede Caproni di Taliedo, daughter of the aviation pioneer Gianni Caproni, an enlightened and courageous industrialist who wrote the founding pages of world aeronautical history, was held today in Rome in the Basilica of San Lorenzo outside the walls.

With Maria Fede Caproni disappears a central figure of aeronautical culture of the last 60 years that has inspired and often carried forward personally countless initiatives animated by the only goal of promoting and making known the world of aviation, the men the means but above all the ideas that they were the driving force behind technological progress that has seen the Caproni family for many years.

A woman curious and passionate about the interests that passed, contaminating, from the world of art to that of aeronautical technique and history to that still of botany, Maria Fede Caproni has always profited, up to the last, in everything he did or promoted a profound and disinterested passion for the universe of the flight manifesting unlimited love for the Military Air Force. For decades her living room studio was the meeting point of personality of every environment that recognized in Capri's authority and competence in Mary Faith. Sitting at his desk he gave advice, became enthusiastic, or indignant, and worked first. He concentrated on drawing colorful and imaginative characters or floral motifs, giving astonishing energy and great genius in everything he did.

Maria Fede Caproni was switched off Sunday, November 5 in his home in Rome. Leave his sons Paolo, Gianni and Andrea.

There were civilian and military authorities in the burials including the Chief of Staff of Military Air Force, Gen. and Enzo Vecciarelli, who wanted to bring the last greetings of the armed force to a great friend.

The Air Force dedicated the book "… e senza cozzar dirocco" to Maria Fede Caproni.
