Late yesterday evening, Monday 21 May, the Air Force carried out the urgent transport of a newborn girl in imminent danger of life.

The Falcon 900 aircraft of the 31st Wing of Ciampino took off on the orders of the Top Situation Room of the Air Squad Command, which received an urgent transport request from the Sassari Prefecture.

The aircraft, having arrived in Alghero and having boarded the little one with a medical team to assist her, took off around 21:40, landing in Ciampino after about an hour of flight. Here the little patient was immediately transported to the “Bambino Gesù” hospital to receive the necessary treatments.
