During the flight, the patient was assisted by a team of doctors from the Civil Hospital of Legnano, in the Milan area, where he was subsequently transferred by ambulance.

The Air Force aircraft, which had departed around 18:00 Italian from the Indian Indira Ghandi airport in New Delhi, landed in Milan in the early hours of dawn, around 03:30, after eleven hours of flight and one technical dock.

The humanitarian protocol was activated by the Embassy of Italy in New Delhi, in coordination with the Prefecture of Milan, to allow the man, admitted to the intensive care unit of the Indraprastha Apollo Hospital, to receive the necessary care in a structure Italian specialist.
