28/04/15

Yesterday, 26 cadets of the Kuwaitian Air Force arrived on board of a C-17 at the Capodichino Airport Command to carry out the procedures necessary for the incorporation for the achievement of the aircraft pilotage suitability, as part of the collaboration bilateral agreement between Italy and Kuwait.

After the welcome from the commander of the Military Airport, Colonel Angelantonio Palmiero, the Kuwaiti students were taken to the Air Force Academy of Pozzuoli, where they will stay during this first period of settling, in view of the next training engagements at the flying schools of the Italian Air Force.

Under the control of the Support and Special Forces Command, the Capodichino Airport Command ensures logistical support for military and state flights, as well as for co-located entities and the US Naval Support Activity, for which it also guarantees the exercise of national sovereignty.
