Marshal Autorino, the only survivor of the fall of a Fiat BR20 bomber in Voroscilovgrad (Ukraine), decorated with the War Cross in the Russian Campaign and Knight of the Republic, passed away last May 27.
In life, the late Giulio had repeatedly told his family members to remember, on the day of his departure, to "inform his Air Force".
General Preziosa pointed out, in a letter sent to family members, how "that simple adjective, SUA, embodies the power of a feeling, that of belonging, that only a Military can understand, live and assimilate to the point of handing it down" .
