The 1 Marshal Lieutenant Pasquale Cardetta and the 1 Marshal Fabio Carpone, members of the SVTAM crew, took part in the race that took place on Saturday 20 June in the waters of the Mar Grande where they first reached the finish line in front of the brigade boats of Fire and Harbor Master's Office.
The two Tarantino rowers, already winners of the 2014 edition, provided an excellent performance contending the victory to the other crews up to the last row and highlighting, not only an uncommon experience and sports preparation, but also a strong team spirit that it was decisive for the final success.
The victory has also taken on a special value because it falls on the centenary of the establishment of the Idroscalo "Luigi Bologna", now the headquarters of SVTAM, the department that will provide for the selection, training and training of AM troop personnel.
