Particular attention was paid to the operations carried out with a single airplane in a complex scenario and in the application of the procedures in dynamic and changing conditions.

The Italian detachment played a leading role as in addition to the crew, it included personnel in the organizational staff including two pilot instructors with the function of Tactical Instructor, a maintenance cell for logistical support, an intelligence officer, and a team made up of Air Riflemen who, in collaboration with a team from the Study and Experience Center of Folgore (EI), contributed to the packaging of the loads necessary for the execution of the missions of the national structure and the execution of air raids from the various aircraft .

The two weeks of training, under the supervision of the Tactical Instructors, were planned and carried out missions with increasing difficulty, in scenarios characterized by air-to-air and ground-to-air threats, with landings on short runways (maximum effort landings) and aviation and refueling missions. aviation of men and materials.
