Concluded the 1st "Full D" course at the 9 ° Stormo

From 16 to 18 June, at the 9 ° Stormo F.Baracca di Grazzanise, the 1 ° "Full D" Course was held for the training of nursing staff and rescuer driver, of the Caserta air base.

This course included for the first time the simultaneous teaching of BLSD (Basic Life Support - Defibrillation) and PBLSD (Pediatric Basic Life Support - Defibrillation) techniques, respectively in favor of subjects in adulthood and pediatric age, according to the treatment algorithms envisaged by the European guidelines.

The lessons, divided into a theoretical part (with the discussion of topics such as kinematics, dynamics and primary and secondary evaluation of the traumatized person) and in a practical part consisting of techniques of approach and approach to the traumatized person (roll over, helmet removal, collar application , stapler, traumatic and spinal stretcher), has allowed the nursing staff of the ward to compare and refine themselves in the very important life-saving techniques of first aid

The commander of the 9 ° Stormo, Colonel Ivan Mignogna, was particularly satisfied with the exercise activity: “The activity of the Italian Red Cross represents a system of professionalism, ability and knowledge of operating procedures in the medical health field of essential value, fundamental to succeed in intervene effectively and quickly to save many human lives ".

The course ended with the awarding of diplomas to all participants and with thanks from the commander of Stormo to the professionals of the Italian Red Cross for the precious collaboration provided.
