Emergency medical transport has ended for a child of just 20 days in imminent danger of life from Cagliari to Rome with a plane F of the 31 ° Wing of the Air Force.
The aircraft, one of the assets of the Armed Forces 24 ready hours on 24 for this kind of need, on the order of Summit Situation Room of the Air Team Air Force Command, took off at the 15.00 from Cagliari airport where he boarded the small patient and a medical team for health care during the flight.
At 16.00 the plane landed in Ciampino, from where the child was transported by ambulance to the “Bambin Gesù” hospital in Rome.
Emergency transport, as happens in these cases, was requested by the Cagliari Prefecture, activated by the University Hospital of Cagliari because of the child's critical health conditions.
