The recent amendment Carbone to the DDL Madia on the reorganization of the PA, together with the White Paper of Defense are potentially devastating measures for the concept of equiordination that is in force in the Defense and Security sector.
I Co.Ce.R. of the Army, of the Navy and of the Italian Air Force ask in a single voice and with the utmost firmness that the principle of coordination, introduced to safeguard all the Personnel of the Defense and Security Section from the 216 law n.1992, does not come in any affected as this would penalize all men and women in uniform in a strategic sector whose cohesion should be safeguarded even more. It therefore appears incomprehensible that the Government shares a separation of the sector while preparing, at the same time and with unusual solicitude, the umpteenth reform of the armed forces (the fourth from the 2011). Are we facing an indecipherable strategy or cannot we understand the consequences? To this end, the Co.Ce.R. of the Armed Forces call for an urgent meeting with the Minister of Defense and a parliamentary hearing in order to be able to provide his own contribution in this regard.
