23/05/2015 - The Air Force celebrates the centenary of the Great War with a week of initiatives. From Sunday 24 May to Sunday 31, a service of guided tours and free will be available to all citizens who want to visit the historic rooms of Palazzo Aeronautica open exceptionally to the public. The visits will be held from 9: 30 to 15: 30.
Thursday 28 May, from 9: 30 to 12: 00, the astronaut, Colonel Roberto Vittori and the cosmonaut, Lieutenant Colonel Walter Villadei, will meet the students of the schools of Rome.
Memorabilia and aircraft of the Great War are exhibited all year round at the Historical Museum of the Italian Air Force in Vigna di Valle, on Lake Bracciano.
