Sunday - The landing operation on the island of Pelagosa (today Palagruža, Croatia) of a department of 90 sailors under the command of the lieutenant of vessel Alberto da Zara, which takes part in:

- the explorer Marsala, flagship (Rear Admiral Enrico Millo, commander of the operation);

- The Bedroom in support of the auxiliary cruiser City of Palermo which carries the landing department and materials for the installation of an RT station;

- destroyers animosoArdenteArdito e Boldness of the 1aSquadriglia, intended for the escort of the Bedroom and the transport of the avant-garde clusters responsible for taking land and creating landing heads on the beaches at S (Zadlo) and NW (Stara Vlaka) on the island;

- the destroyer Strale and the offshore torpedo boats Heron, Harpy,GoshawkCassiopeiaCentaurClio intended for the prior dredging of the waters in front of the Zadlo beach;

- the French destroyers BissonBouclierCommandant Riviére e Magon, intended for the escort of the Marsala and to carry out the offensive survey of the anchors of the island of Lagosta, with cutting of the telegraph cables.

Remote support is provided by armored cruisers Giuseppe Garibaldi e Varesewhile the submarine Velella is lurking in the waters of Pelagosa, the Nereide in those in front of Punta Planka and the French Monge guards access to Kotor.

The operation succeeds perfectly: on the island six fans are taken prisoner, after several hours the different naval groups make return to Brindisi, the landing department is left to garrison while the submarine Velella lurks in the waters around the island.
