27/07/2015 - At the base of Shama, headquarters of the command of the Sector West of UNIFIL, a donation of pharmaceutical material has been completed in recent days to the hospital of the Lebanese Armed Forces in Beirut, to the Red Cross and to the public hospital in Tire.

The material, hundreds of bottles of electrolyte and glucose solutions, was donated through the Italian contingent by the "Sacred Military Order of San Giorgio" association of Emilia Romagna, the region of origin of the Friuli Aircraft Brigade, which from April 13 is in command of the West Sector of the UNIFIL mission in southern Lebanon.

The ceremony of the donation took place in the presence of the commander of Sector West, General Salvatore Cuoci, who addressing the representatives of the three organizations, reiterated that the work done daily by the entire Italian contingent is aimed at supporting institutions and the local population.
