11/02/2015 - In recent days, the Italian contingent in Lebanon has delivered to the municipality of Beit Lif, a town in the hinterland of southern Lebanon, the latest generation of health equipment for the completion of the local emergency room.

The delivery took place in the presence of the Italian contingent commander, based on Brigata "Pinerolo", Brigadier General Stefano Del Col, and other local authorities who expressed their thanks.

In fact, assistance to the citizens derives from the tasks of the UN resolution which, in the particular health sector, are also carried out through the construction of the first aid centers in the villages furthest from the hospitals.

Last December, Italian blue helmets donated an ambulance to Beit Lif to make the management of medical emergencies more effective.
