03/08/2014 - A satellite Global Positioning System (GPS) IIF was launched yesterday and sent signals to controllers confirming smooth operation within the constellation that supports millions of people for navigation.

The IIF-7 GPS was boarded on an Atlas-5 rocket from Cape Canaveral, is the seventh 12 that Boeing he built for theU.S. Air Force and the third launch this year.
