06 / 07 / 2015 - 12 visitors from the Army, the Navy and the Air Force have completed the 5 ° Course at the School of Aerocooperation in Guidonia (RM) Joint Combat SAR (Search and rescue in a hostile environment), aimed at the preparation of personnel destined to operate in the tactical planning and management areas of missions Joint Combat Search And Rescue/Joint Personnel Recovery (JCSAR / JPR), based on national and NATO doctrine.

The training process, open to the military of all the armed forces, is developed in two phases: the first, purely theoretical phase at the School, involves the administration of the concepts and concepts envisaged by sector publications and technical-tactical procedures (TTPs ) applied in real operations.

A second, practical phase consists of an exercise in an operational department or command of the Italian Air Force where the acquired knowledge is experimented "in the field", also with the aid of flight arrangements, through planning, preparation and operation of operations in which the recovery of personnel isolated in conflict contexts is simulated.

In this edition, the course made a cognitive visit to the COA (Air Operations Command) of Poggio Renatico (FE) on the occasion of a COMAO (Composized Air Operation) exercise by Combat SAR, which simulated the recovery in hostile territory of the crew of a downed aircraft, with the use of flight arrangements by the Air Force and NATO.
