22/06/2015 - The Chief of Staff of the Air Force, Air Squad General Pasquale Preziosa, and the whole Armed Force expressed feelings of deep condolences and closeness to the relatives of the late First Class Marshal Guido Autorino.
Marshal Autorino, the only survivor of the fall of a Fiat BR20 bomber in Voroscilovgrad (Ukraine), decorated with War Cross in the Russian Campaign e Knight of the Republic, failed last 27 May.
In life, the late Giulio had repeatedly told his family members to remember, on the day of his departure, "inform your Air Force".
General Preziosa pointed out, in a letter sent to family members, how "that simple adjective, SUA, embodies the power of a feeling, that of belonging, that only a Military can understand, live and assimilate to the point of handing it down".
