The exercises "Capricorn" and "Artemide" 1-23 ended in recent days. The first was conducted by the 4th tank regiment with the aim of perfecting personnel training and achieving the definitive "ready for use " for the units inserted in the JRRF (Joint Rapid Response Forces), NRI (Nato Readiness Initiative) and EUBG (European Battle Group) basin of the units of the "Garibaldi" brigade.
The second from the "Lancers of Novara" regiment (5th) which engaged a scouting detachment of the cavalry unit in reconnaissance and security enabling tactical activities in a warfighting environment. Present at the latter was the commander of the North Operating Forces, general of the army corps Salvatore Camporeale, who took the opportunity to greet the personnel of the 132nd armored brigade "Ariete" and of the "Friuli Venezia Giulia" group engaged in the "Strade Sicure" operation in the square of Udine, meeting local authorities as well.
