At the "Verdirosi" barracks in Rieti, the alternation ceremony at the top of the NBC Defense Force School, between Brigadier General Emilio Corbucci and the parigrade Riccardo Fambrini took place.
The ceremony, presided over by the Chief of Staff of the Army Training, Specialization and Doctrine Command, Major General Massimo Mingiardi, saw the participation of the highest military and civilian city officials, of the Combat and Weapon Associations, of the Banners of the city and province of Rieti and the municipality of Longone Sabino.
General Corbucci leaves, after almost three years, the command of the NBC School and, after 39 years, also the active service. During his farewell speech, he expressed his gratitude to all the staff for the professionalism, passion and dedication with which they worked and added "I spent unforgettable moments with you that made my experience as a captain one of the most exciting. that military life has granted me ”.
Major General Massimo Mingiardi expressed words of satisfaction for the work and results achieved by General Corbucci for the excellent work carried out and, in wishing good work to General Fambrini for the delicate task assumed, he underlined "The School is an excellence and a reference, not only in the inter-force field but also in the inter-ministerial and international field, a flagship of our Armed Forces".
