In recent days, in the Catania branch of Confindustria, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Italian Army and the Provincial Association of Industrialists which provides for the integration of an already active program to facilitate the insertion of retired military volunteers into the world of work.

The objective of the agreement, signed by the Deputy Commander of the Southern Military Region, Brigadier General Francesco Arena and by the president of Confindustria Catania, Domenico Bonaccorsi di Reburdone, is to allow the volunteers discharged without demerit access to an easier path. inserting them into the civilian working world at the end of their service with the Armed Forces. In particular, the parties have undertaken to share information relating to job supply and demand, in order to make available to companies staff already trained in the ranks of the Armed Forces and immediately available. "It is a further initiative - said General Arena - which, by integrating the similar ones already in place, has the aim of making it easier for those who various, the voluntary military stop without demerit has ceased ". The agreement also provides for the establishment of a joint technical-operational committee that promotes ova the implementation of the agreed initiatives in order to achieve the objectives of the agreement by monitoring and evaluating the results. This initiative is part of a wider program already active at national level - in which the Southern Military Region Command participates through the employee placement and Euroforming section - and integrates the protocols of understanding already active on the subject of training activities always aimed at insertion in the world of work of young discharged volunteers.
