The wide range of activities carried out by the 450 Italian and British soldiers who make up the Susa Task Force, includes offensive, defensive and stabilization operations.

In addition to the English soldiers and regiments of the Taurinense (2nd, 3rd and 9th Alpini, 1st mountain artillery, 32nd genius and Nice Cavalry) - the 186 ° paratroopers and the infantrymen of the 66th Trieste, operating with the Mangusta and NH90 helicopters of the 7th Vega Regiment of the Army Aviation. The Tornado aircraft of Ghedi's 6th flock complete the picture of the aerial assets.

The “Roman Express” is part of the international partnerships of the Army which include, among other things, the project to set up an Italian-French brigade command based on the Taurinense and the 27th transalpine mountain brigade.
