This morning, in the courtyard of the Military Academy of Modena, the military ceremony was held for the twentieth anniversary of the entrance to the Institute of the 184th "Volontà" course.
The symbolic twinning between the officers of the 184th course and the students of the 204th course represents an ideal embrace between two generations which, although distant by birth, are animated by the same principles and the same motivations which symbolize belonging to a single group, like the motto “UNA ACIES” of the Military Academy.
The officers of the 184th course, faced with the excited gaze of their families, were thus able to relive the significant moments of the past and recall the ideal motivations of twenty years ago which, consolidated by the experiences and commitment of these years of service , find life-giving confirmation today. The then "pupils" - today senior officers of the Army and of the Carabinieri - found themselves alongside the young cadets of the 204th course who, with their proud looks, represent the continuity of that common passion, of that conviction and of that enthusiasm in undertaking a profession aimed at the common good, assuming the responsibility of serving others, with humility and awareness of one's role as commander.
The commander of the Military Academy, general of division Davide Scalabrin, in greeting the officers of the 184th course, underlined: "With your enthusiasm, your energy and your determination, in recent years you have engaged in a profession that has asked a lot of you, certainly also in terms of personal and family sacrifices, but today, the eyes of the students of the 204th course , are all for you and shine with the same passion that guided you during your journey at the Military Academy”.
