In Fossano these days the Alpine troops of the 32 ° sappers regiment of the alpine brigade Taurinense, in this particularly difficult historical moment marked by the health emergency linked to Covid-19, they decided to demonstrate the proximity and solidarity of the regiment to the local community, promoting and organizing a collection of basic necessities to be destined for the Food Bank of Fossano .
The spontaneous initiative has received numerous adhesions both among the same engineers, and between companies and production companies in the area, allowing to collect a large amount of food products that will be distributed by the Food Bank to families in need in the area.
The men and women of the regiment have shown, once again, to feel deeply connected to the Fossanese community, alongside solidarity with their institutional activity which is seeing them particularly committed - in recent weeks - in the sanitation of health facilities throughout the Piedmontese territory , in addition to the constant reclamation of war residues.
