It took place in recent days, at the "Ferrari-Orsi" barracks in Caserta, home of the "Garibaldi" brigade command, "D'Avossa" in Salerno where the "Guide" and "Capone" light cavalry regiments of Persano (SA) are present, home of the 8th "Pasubio" artillery regiment and the 4th tank regiment, theOpen Day in favor of the candidates volunteers on initial standstill (VFI) residents in the Campania region and included in the 1st VFI 2025 block rates.
The young aspirants were welcomed in the barracks and participated in the flag-raising ceremony with all the military personnel present. After a briefing initial presentation on the possibilities offered by the Army, the phases of "garrison life" and the peculiarities of the various specialities of the brigade were illustrated.
The testimonies of the staff were also particularly appreciated. infoteam who recounted their professional experiences, from the first stages of enlistment to the possibilities of progressing in their military careers and the static exhibition of vehicles and equipment supplied to the various departments, set up in the respective barracks.
The EOD team aroused particular curiosity when it presented the vehicles and specialized equipment in its possession and their possible employment capabilities in the field of explosive remnants clearance, both at home, in close coordination with the police authorities, and abroad.
The activities, coordinated by the command of the South Operating Forces, aimed to provide aspiring volunteers, coming from all over the Region, with concrete and tangible guidance on the professional, training and work opportunities that the Italian Army can offer through an evocative journey of history, traditions and technological innovation.
