(To Army Majority State)

In the presence of the military and civil authorities of the province of Varese and of the municipalities of Valle Olona, the first edition of "NRDC ITA No Limits" was held at the "Ugo Mara" barracks.

The event, organized in collaboration with the Lombardy Italian Paralympic Committee, with the Special Olympics Lombardy of the province of Varese and the municipality of Solbiate Olona, was created to sensitize public opinion towards the issues of the world of disability and, at the same time, bring it closer to the military world.

Some athletes belonging to the Paralympic Defense Sports Group (GSPD), the local student community and various associations joined the event which was opened by the commander of NRDC-ITA, army corps general Lorenzo D'Addario, who welcomed all the participants in a moment of sharing of sport as a useful tool for awareness of one's own potential beyond the limitations deriving from a disability.

Furthermore, in this context, the Armed Forces have always ensured their attention to personnel who have contracted injuries or disabling and permanent illnesses in the performance of their duty at home or outside national borders.
