Soldiers foil an attempt to escape and seize drugs

In recent days, two army military patrols, used in the "Safe Roads" operation - the "Rome" brigade-led "Granatieri di Sardegna" group, have contributed to guaranteeing the order and security in the capital.

In the first intervention, carried out at the CIE (Center for Identification and Expulsion) of Ponte Galeria (Rm), an effective patrol at the 11 ° regimental genius regiment of Foggia noticed smoke coming out of one of the buildings in the center and alerting the State police .

The police went inside the structure and found that in the corridor some guests had set fire to mattresses.

With the smoke that obscured the cameras, some guests tried to escape but were promptly discouraged by the army personnel who intervened in competition with a resolution action that did not allow any guest to escape from the center.

In the second intervention, instead, carried out at the Laurentina exchange node, an effective patrol at the 7 ° bersaglieri regiment of Altamura (BA), during the joint service with the carabinieri weapon, contributed to the discovery and subsequent seizure of some doses of marijuana.
