The Army sanitizes Piedmontese RSA

At the request ofcrisis units of the Piedmont Region, on April 25, specialized groups of disinfectants from the "Taurinense" alpine brigade, supported by structures provided by the command for training and application school of the Army of Turin and from the artillery regiment on horseback of Vercelli, have launched a program of tight activities, which will see them sanitize over 30 RSA by May 10, for a total of about 2.700 beds.

A delicate and intense commitment, for which the "Taurinense" has adequately prepared itself in the last two weeks, both by carrying out an internal course that has allowed it to double its specialist structures, and by acquiring specific small and medium capacity equipment. This allowed in a few days to strengthen the structures available to the dependent regiments, also allowing them to respond immediately, adherently and flexibly to the multiple requests for intervention made by the extraordinary commissioner for Coronavirus of the Piedmont region and of the Regional Council.

In any case, attention is paid to the security protocols for the protection of the soldiers engaged in sanitization activities, which see the nuclei operating in structures potentially at risk of contagion.
