The sanitization operations requested by the prefectural authority as part of the prevention activities against the spread of CoViD-19 are continuing without interruption, at public offices and garrisons of the Law Enforcement by the disinfection team of the Command of the Terrestrial Operational Support Forces of Verona, coordinated by Colonel Enrico Mancini, veterinary consultant and hygienist of the Command.

On the morning of Saturday 18 April, following agreements entered into with Dr. Ivana Petricca, it was the turn of the police headquarters in the Scaligerian capital, whose reclamation involved numerous offices, internal and external common spaces and several technical rooms.

The remediation works, already carried out on two occasions at the Verona-Montorio district house, were carried out through the use of low-pressure backed pumps, equipment capable of treating internal spaces by spraying an active solution on the SARS virus -CoV-2 based on 0,1% sodium hypochlorite.

The activity carried out by the disinfection unit is added to the numerous skills and competences that the Italian Army has made and will continue to make available for the protection of public health and which strengthen the already consolidated synergy between the State Institutions, which are committed daily and jointly to fight against the spread of CoViD-19.

A collaboration between the Italian Army and the State Police of fundamental importance in a moment of great difficulty for our country; made by men and women in uniform who daily offer their unconditional availability to serve the citizens and the whole community.
