The thirteenth edition of the Roman show "Motodays 2025" ended last Sunday, one of the most important events in central and southern Italy dedicated to the world of two wheels. The Army was also present with a promotional stand organized by the command of the Terrestrial Operations.
During the three days of the event, a large turnout of two-wheel enthusiasts visited the exhibition area of the Armed Forces, where the personnel of the Transport and Materials School he illustrated the training and professional opportunities offered by the Army.
Many young "bikers" had the opportunity to try their hand at some interactive activities very similar to those practiced by Army soldiers during training, with the assistance of qualified instructors.
In the space dedicated to the Army, the public was able to admire motorcycles and historic cars usually exhibited at the Military Historical Museum of Motor Vehicles and in particular, the 350 “Moto Guzzi 1957”, the 500 “Bianchi 1940” motorcycle, a two-wheeler whose distinctive feature is the three-speed gearbox operated by a hand lever positioned to the right of the tank, and a 508-speed “Fiat 3 Balilla Spider” car, a model presented at the Milan Motor Show in April 1932.
The inevitable ones have been met with great success Lightweight Multirole Tactical Vehicle (VTLM) Lince, the motorcycle simulators and the Quadrupedal Unmanned Ground Vehicle (Q-UGV) "ATOMO", remotely piloted platform used in reconnaissance, identification and sampling of chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear (CBRN) substances of the 7th CBRN defense regiment "Cremona".
