The Army meets the Veronese schools

After a long pause due to restrictions due to the health emergency, the civic training meetings organized by the command of the Support Terrestrial Operating Forces, together with the municipal administration and the Scaligero provincial school office.

The meetings, aimed at primary and secondary school students to promote national identity, start - according to a format already tested in recent years - from the prestigious Gozzi room, seat of the city council, where a representative of the Army illustrates, also through the projection of images and videos, the symbols of national unity, the genesis of the "Song of the Italians" and the history of our Tricolore, and then moves outside, in Piazza Brà, where the soldiers to attend, together, the solemn ceremony of the raising of the flag which sees the pupils as protagonists, who have hoisted the flag.

At the premise of the meeting, the greeting of the general of the army corps Massimo Scala, commander of the Support Terrestrial Operating Forces, the councilor for Security and Civil Protection, Marco Padovani and Professor Roberta Spallone, as contact person at the UAT office in Verona.

The meeting was the first in a series that will involve several Veronese schools and will culminate on March 17, with the celebrations for the 161st anniversary of the proclamation of the Kingdom of Italy on the occasion of the "National Unity Day, Constitution, the Anthem and the Flag ".
