The Army at the 32 ° "Automotoretrò"

Also this year, in Turin from the 7 to the 9 February, the collaboration of the Italian Army continues with “Automotoretrò”, the motoring collecting exhibition dedicated to the cars and motorcycles of the past and, in some cases, unique pieces in the world, recognized in the 2012 by the Piedmont Region as an International Event.

The Armed Force, with the coordination of the Northern Military Region Command and the collaboration of the "Taurinense" Alpine Brigade, will tell a piece of its history through archive images. In addition, a very modern Vehicle will be exhibited in the space of Pavilion 2 reserved for the Army. Tactical Light Multirole (VTLM) "LINCE", the vehicle used in international missions in Lebanon and Afghanistan that has saved many Italian soldiers from attacks with Improvised Explosive Devices (IED - Improvised Explosive Device) and that many other European countries have chosen for their Armies including Great Britain, Spain and Russia. During the three days of activity, the soldiers of the Infoteam of the Northern Military Region Command will provide young people interested in enlisting in the Army, information on professional opportunities in the Armed Forces and in particular detailed information on how to participate in competitions for the enrollment in the Military Academy of Modena and in the Non-commissioned Officers School of the Army of Viterbo and on the related training courses. During the event, information will also be provided on the competition announcement for 7.000 places for Volunteers in Fixed Stops of 1 year for the year 2013-2014 with the possibility, offered to the winners, to be able to transit in the four-year firm and in the Permanent Army and in the initial careers of the State Armed Corps and Police Forces.
