A few days ago, at the "Mittica" barracks, headquarters of the 132nd armored brigade "Ariete", the "Allied Knight 22" exercise, conducted as part of the activities carried out for Born Readiness Initiative (NRI).
THEAllied Knight 22 is part of a training program launched in the second half of 2020, which aims to implement cooperation and interoperability between contributing nations, through planning, training and exercises.
Purpose ofAllied Knight 22 was the mutual knowledge of national and foreign staff, the amalgamation with the correct, unambiguous and coordinated implementation of Standard Domestic Procedure (SOP) e Standard Operating Instruction (SOI) in force, on the premise of the next exercises.
The 132nd “Ariete” armored brigade - large combat unit framework for the NRI in the two-year period 2021/2022 - it has both national and foreign units belonging to NATO countries: Albania, Bulgaria, Greece, Montenegro, Slovenia, Turkey and Hungary. Further training activities are planned for June and October.
