04/03/14

A representative of one hundred and thirty-six students and officers of the military academy took part in the 40 ^ edition of the Rome-Ostia, a traditional "half marathon" which, starting from the Eur district, winds along the Via Cristoforo Colombo until it reaches the Ostia seafront , for a total distance of Km 21,097.

A path that saw the students supporting, and completing, an arduous test, different from those normally sustained during the training cycle.

The military academy attaches particular importance to gymnastic and sporting activity, which is, in fact, one of the four pillars of evaluation, together with behavioral performance and cultural and professional preparation, and which contributes to the harmonious and balanced development of physical and character qualities indispensable for the future commanders of men and women of the Italian Army and of the Carabinieri.
